As it stands, a journalist is being killed every 20 hours in Gaza, simply trying to bring the truth to the world. As of last count, over 120 journalists have been killed, despite supposedly being ‘protected’ under humanitarian laws within the Geneva Convention.

At The Practice one of our highest values is speaking the truth, regardless of the consequences and supporting those who are courageous enough to do the same. The unfortunate situation we face today is that mainstream media outlets cannot be trusted to cover the truth. If they could, then so many of these lives would have been spared.

SEE THE TRUTH. SPEAK THE TRUTH

FIGHT FOR THE TRUTH. NO MATTER WHAT.

We absolutely understand that ALL of our brothers and sisters need support in Gaza right now. We recognize that over 25,000 Palestinians have been killed in the last 4 months and that 70% of these Souls were innocent women and children. We pray for all of the people in Gaza and pray that funding is finding its way into the hands of the families that need it the most.

We have decided to focus on supporting the truth-tellers; the truth warriors who are risking their lives (and in may cases sacrificing their lives) so that we can be better informed and so that Palestinian citizens have a voice and an avenue to share their stories with the world.

The journalists need your support.

Which is why every Monday at 530pm (Bali time) we will be running 45 minute donation-based Meditation classes, both at the studio and also live-streamed via Zoom.

If you are attending in-studio sessions, please offer what you can. We will have a donations box at reception. If you are joining online, please donate via the PayPal link provided on this page and then use the Zoom link (also provided below) to access the class. 100% of the funds from these classes will go to:

Food, clothes, blankets and other utilities for journalists, their families and the families of those journalists who have died in the field.

Safety equipment and gear for journalists, such as press vests, helmets, cell phones and cameras.

Psychological support for journalists.

Ongoing support to keep as many (non-mainstream) media outlets as possible operating in Gaza.

SEE THE TRUTH. SPEAK THE TRUTH

FIGHT FOR THE TRUTH. NO MATTER WHAT.
